Silence cannot be misunderstood for weakness'
Raveena Tandon tells Amrita Mukherjee that decency should not be taken for granted.
I am doing things that I always wanted to do:
I spent time with physically challenged children on Christmas. It's charity work that has brought me to Kolkata today and I am seriously thinking of starting an organisation with my friend that would build awareness around the environment and animals.
1x1 polls
I will divulge details when the paperwork is complete.
I believe in Shakti Mataa:
When Vishnu, Mahesh and Shiva came together they created Devi and she is called Trikala. Imagine three men putting their powers together to create one.
That's why whenever I am in Kolkata I always visit Kalighat temple and I am also a frequent visitor to Kamakhya temple.
Silence is not a sign of weakness:
It is an act of decency. Society makes us and we are responsible to society. That's why celebs should maintain a code of conduct. I am not proud of what happend at the party on 31st night but there is a limit to which you will allow yourself to be pushed.

There is a point at which one will react and I also reacted. I was just standing up for myself and my family. And anyway I did not do anything illegal. Any red-blooded person would react the way I did.
I am not the kind who wouldn't take responsibility for her actions:
I am known to be a very patient person, so such a reaction coming from me is a little surprising. But when you are nice to people and they start taking you for granted you have to put them in place. I did just that. My action was a spur of the moment reaction. I wouldn't try to justify it neither would I regret it.
My mom's dog has become more famous than me:
Initially it was very embarrassing to see my mom's dog Rambo's photograph on page 1 of Times of India. It was even more embarrassing to give interviews about Rambo, but on hindsight it was the photograph that created the awareness.
He was stolen and about to be sold off when someone recognised him after seeing the photograph in the newspaper and brought him back. My mother is really attached to the dog and we couldn't imagine losing him.
SPEAK EASY On Rashaa: Anil came home and kissed her so much last night that she woke up and stayed awake till 2 am.
On the incident at the 31st party: Many people perceived it as a catfight with Natasha Sippy. That's not true.
On Kolkata: Chhobita bhalo hoyechhe! I haven't forgotten the Bengali I picked up while shooting Sahib Biwi Gulam
